Parent Review of the Blast Zone Magic Caste Inflatable Bouncer

Blast Zone Magic Caste Inflatable Bouncer
Why we choose the Blast Zone Magic Caste Inflatable Bouncer over a trampoline. One of the things my husband and I have been discussing for the last few years was getting a trampoline for the kids. He grew up with a trampoline in his parents yard, but I have always been nervous having our children on trampolines. While they may be fine for older children, I have always been worried about them getting hurt. It wasn’t until the Memorial Day weekend, however, that I thought it may be fun to get the kids some sort of bouncing toy, especially since they loved the bouncer one of our neighbors rented for our barbeque.

Even though our search first started for a trampoline, we kept bringing our online searches to inflatable bouncing toys. They seemed much safer than traditional trampolines and seemed much more realistic for our children’s ages. I was shocked, however, at how unsafe many of these bounces were for children, especially since many of them had no way to keep children inside the bouncer. Just when I was about to give up on finding a safe bouncing toy for my children, I came across the Blast Zone Magic Caste Inflatable Bouncer. After reading the reviews, I was immediately sold on this children’s bouncing toy. Here is what we think so far after having had this bouncing toy in our basement and backyard for the past week.

Set Up of the Blast Zone Magic Caste Inflatable Bouncer

Contrary to what many people may believe, setting up the Blast Zone Magic Caste Inflatable Bouncer was very easy. Not inflated, the toy looks like a medium to large sleeping bag, making it very easy to transport and move around your house, something that was very important to me as a busy mom. To set up the Blast Zone Magic Caste Inflatable Bouncer, all you have to do is unroll it at your desired location and hook up the blower to the back of the bouncing unit. This was the hardest part of setting up this bouncing toy, since the rest is waiting for about two to five minutes for the toy to blow up.

So far, I have set up the Blast Zone Magic Caste Inflatable Bouncer in both our basement and our backyard. It set up painlessly in the basement, but we took extra precautions in the backyard. Even though it does come with stakes, my husband was a bit paranoid and staked the toy into the ground using tent stakes. While the toy’s stakes are likely fine, this gave us the extra security of knowing that if a strong wind comes while the girls are playing outside, it won’t tip over the entire toy while they are inside.

Durability of the Blast Zone Magic Caste Inflatable Bouncer

Blast Zone Magic Caste Inflatable Bouncer
I was actually surprised that the Blast Zone Magic Caste Inflatable Bouncer was better made than the rented unit that our neighbors rented for the party. All of the seams on this vinyl toy were very well reinforced, allowing the unit to give a bit extra bounce and make the toy more durable. Like the commercial toy, it was made out of the same commercial vinyl, meaning it is meant to withstand quite a bit of abuse, making it the type of summer toy that you expect to last five to ten years, if not more!

This inflatable bouncing toy was designed to withstand the abuse of children and keep them safe while they are playing. The Blast Zone Magic Caste Inflatable Bouncer claims that it can hold about 300 pounds, making it perfect for three to six children. I also loved that the walls of platform are about 60 inches high, making it impossible for children to hit the ceiling while bouncing, or easily fall out of the unit. With its safe slope slide, it is very easy to access and even safer than the commercial bouncer the neighbors rented, making it perfect for small children!

Kid Friendly Blast Zone Magic Caste Inflatable Bouncer

What I really loved about the Blast Zone Magic Caste Inflatable Bouncer is that it is really designed for small children. Unlike other bouncers, a nice net that is able to withstand a child bouncing into it at full force surrounds this bouncing castle. This is important since I did see some horror stories on TV of some children falling out of these bouncers, especially since the nets on them weren’t very well secured. As well, an adult can easily close the entrance to the bouncer since it is secured by Velcro, allowing children to have a safe environment to play without parents having to worry about children being harmed by falling onto concrete or the ground from this bouncer.

Best of all, the kids absolutely love the Blast Zone Magic Caste Inflatable Bouncer. Unlike most bouncing toys, the kids can play with this toy year round since it can easily be used indoors or outdoors with the way it is designed. The only drawback is that the blower does go continuously and it is about as loud as a vacuum cleaner. While this isn’t a problem outdoors, it is a bit noisy inside. Since it is in the basement, however, I don’t care too much since the Blast Zone Magic Caste Inflatable Bouncer does make my girls very happy!

What Others Think of the Blast Zone Magic Caste Inflatable Bouncer

My daughters absolutely loved the Blast Zone Magic Caste Inflatable Bouncer and I am so glad we decided to purchase this bouncing toy for the girls. It is one of their all time favorite summer toys and I expect this bouncer is going to be used quite a bit for the next few summers. Currently, the Blast Zone Magic Caste Inflatable Bouncer has a 4.5 out of 5 star rating on Amazon, making it one of the most popular summer toys on the site. We aren’t the only ones who love this kids bouncer – here is what other parents and grandparents think of this cute bouncer!

“I am amazed at the quality for the price. It is very cute, and the colors are very bright. We use it indoors and outside. We have had another bouncy in the past, and it is easy to tell that this one is made of much better materials. The picture online is actually what you get in the box, whereas the other one we had looked much different than the picture when you blew it up.,€¨,€¨My Son is 4 and he goes in there on his own easily. An adult has to close the velcro behind the kids, but the net closes at the base, so even if it wasn’t velcroed, I don’t think kids could fall out. Since we purchased this, we have used it almost every day. The fan runs the whole time, but it is not super loud, I would say about the same as a hair dryer.,€¨,€¨The only thing that was confusing for me was that there are 2 tubes in the back. One is very short, and the other is longer. The instructions don’t specify, but the long tube is for the motor and the short one is to make the bounce deflate faster. You just untie it when you are finished. If you try to put the fan on the short tube, it will fall over when the kids are jumping.”
“We have two grandkids(6&4)that live right near us and enjoy this in my basement every time they come over. We had two others(5&3) that loved it on Thanksgiving.,€¨The walls are nice and high, and strong. The bounce platform is nice and flat, not like others I have seem that are not flat at all. The kids are in it until they just can’t bounce anymore.”
“We bought this item for our daughter’s 3rd birthday party after looking into renting one. She has been in it everyday since! It is super quick to inflate, literally takes less than 30 seconds. We currently have it inside, as it has been raining lately and she loves playing with it. On her birthday we had 4 kids (ages 6-3) in it and it did extremely well. I have even been in it with my daughter playing. Cannot say enough good things about it. Would recommend it to anyone looking to purchase one!”

Where to Purchase the Blast Zone Magic Caste Inflatable Bouncer

Even though this bouncer was being sold by our local camping store, we bought the Blast Zone Magic Caste Inflatable Bouncer at Amazon.com. Not only did they offer free shipping, but also the unit was nearly $100 cheaper on Amazon than our local store. As well, Amazon has a wonderful return policy, allowing me to return the Blast Zone Magic Caste Inflatable Bouncer if my daughters decided they didn’t like it or if it fell apart, something we have had to do before with summer toys. With Amazon’s great policy, why would I buy from anywhere else online?
